Now that 2023 is behind us, we wanted to share some of the projects and accomplishments we’re most proud of from the past year. This was all made possible through the generous support of our community and sponsors. 

In 2024, we put on 83 events and programs for our community. We also in that time implemented community grants, had 3 new business openings, attended the National Main Street Conference as well as state trainings for communities and small towns, had 87 incredible volunteers work 619 hours downtown, attracted thousands of “first time visitors” to Lburg, expanded our Board and Committees, expanded the Farmers Market to include children and family programming, donated over $75,000 to local charities and organizations to give back to the community, and there is so much more in the works!

From new businesses downtown, to record breaking concerts, Lawrenceburg is becoming a standout destination. If you ask what does Main Street do? Why is this organization important? Why do we need a vibrant downtown? Our mission is to improve Lawrenceburg by revitalizing our business district, promoting community attractions and developing the economic tools needed to make downtown the heart of our community.
