Job Description
The main role of the Marketing and Communications Coordinator is to develop and execute strategies to fulfill the “Promotions” pillar of the Main Street 4-Point Program: “to market the district’s defining assets; communicate unique features through storytelling; support the ‘buy-local’ experience.”

This is a Full-Time, non-benefited position.

Job Specifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business, or 3+ years of related experience.
Demonstrated skills in marketing, organization, and planning.  Experience with: WordPress, Canva, Square,  Facebook, Instagram and MailChimp preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Appreciation for “community”

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Director in creating a comprehensive marketing plan
Handle public relations, information output, press releases, media requests, social media, and other forms of advertising efforts
Execute and monitor promotional strategies including:
Social Media Campaigns & Activity (Facebook & Instagram)
Radio Advertising
Newspaper Advertising
Print Material – posters, fliers, rack cards, etc.
Website Management
Kiosk Management,
Billboard Programs
Create/design public relations & marketing materials
Assist the Executive Director with planning, implementation & evaluation of annual events, concert series, pop-up events & business development events
Assist with volunteer management.


$38,500 Annual Salary
