Progress on the Liberty Theater!
“For those that make music, and those who feel it, For those that enjoy local whiskey with friends and neighbors, For those who have shared this river town stage since 1893. Coming Summer 2024 in historic Lawrenceburg Indiana”

This month, the Lawrenceburg Main Street Board had the opportunity to tour the historic Liberty Theater to check out the restoration of this new, highly anticipated music & event venue.

Built in 1893 as home to the Liedertafel Society, this historic landmark is the longest standing public hall in downtown Lawrenceburg. Throughout that time, the building has been home to many businesses and endured decades of wear and tear. Over the past year, the new owner, Dan McCabe, has worked diligently to bring this space back to life. You can already see the incredible progress that has been made to the interior.  With this restoration, the Liberty Theater will be ready serve the community for another 100 years.

The theater kitchen will serve a limited menu with a focus on carry out.  Interviews for kitchen and bar staff will begin in May. Stay tuned for updates!  Be on the lookout and share with your friends!
